En este curso aprenderemos una de las artes más ancestrales, la de trasformar el cuerpo mediante el pigmento u otras sustancias que lo decoran o cubre. Se trata del primer vestuario que sin esconder el cuerpo pone en evidencia a este bajo un tratamiento artístico, donde se emancipa una nueva naturaleza, una máscara donde aparecen entidades evocadas mediante su plasticidad, impresiones coloristas o a fines a texturas y materiales, nos traduce el cuerpo en un ritual donde es metáfora de otras naturalezas, perdiéndose, mutando, transformándose, mimetizandose, trascendiendo y habitando con nuestro cuerpo nuevas realidades que hacen del acto escénico un acto extraordinario y extra-cotidiano.
Para ello comenzaremos trabajando lo conceptual del diseño, su idea y elección, su transposición, tratamiento y elaboración, las herramientas y materiales elegidos y como emplearlos, su acabado o posibles apliques y estructuras que lo arropen, y por último la interpretación del ser creado y la creación de una pequeña pieza corporal donde este pueda existir frente a un público.
